Gansu is located in the northwest of China, the Loess Plateau. The terrain is mainly hills and ravines, and the soil is loose, the rain is less. The lack of water resource has become the limit of social and economic development. In order to solve this problem, the construction of diversion project is under way.

The diversion of Tao River project is an integrated huge trans-basin diversion project, which is mainly to provide water for people’s life, industry and ecosystem, combining with the functions of irrigation, electricity-generating and flood-prevention. It divides into two parts: the Jiudian Gorge hydro-junction and the Tao River supplying-engineering. The beneficial area is about 19.7 thousand sq.km and it relates to many cities and counties.

The loose geological condition demands that it needs the special supporting system. And the hollow anchor bar should be made of tough materials. The hollow anchor bar in Sinorock includes the T-thread type and the R-thread type. They have the higher bonding stress than smooth steel pipe. It can be cut and lengthened according to clients’ demands and applies to narrow spaces.

According to different conditions, the stainless steel anchor bar, duplex coating rock anchor bar and expansion shell anchor bar all have good supporting effect.
